Push Notifications were supposed to be this excellent feature that allows the users to get immediate notifications from a particular site they are interested in. However, it got so overused that it’s now just annoying, as you see push notifications too often. This article will help you to disable push notifications.

Google Chrome

The browser from Google provides its users with a great way to disable push notifications. You have such options as allowing and blocking push notifications on particular sites and what is more, you can disable such notifications altogether.

Enter this command in the address-bar:

chrome://settings/content/notifications

Find Notifications, and then toggle “Ask before sending (recommended)” to grey.

Changes will be saved automatically by the browser, and you won’t have to think about the notifications anymore.

Firefox

Open Firefox browser and enter this command in the address bar

about:config

There will be a warning about voiding the warranty. Press Accept.

Vivaldi

Typically for Vivaldi, the process of finding the settings here is a little harder than it should be, because they are in strange places.
