How to Change the Homepage in Google Chrome

Typically, most users open the same web pages each time they launch their browser. It can be social networks, an electronic one or a page with your favorite films. To save time, users can assign the site they prefer or any resource as a start page.

This article applies to the latest version of Google Chrome for all devices. To begin, update your browser manually if necessary to the latest version.

How to Change Chrome Start Pages

1. Open the browser menu (three vertical dots in the upper right corner) and select Settings.

2. Open a specific page or set of pages.

3. Select Add New Page.

4. Enter the URL that you want to display when you open Chrome and select Add. Additional pages can also be added if you need it.

1. Select the Settings item in the browser menu.

2. At the top of the screen for the Search Settings field, enter the word Home.

3. Make sure the Home button is turned on. You can enable it in the Show Home button section.

4. Enter the URL in the Enter Your Own Web Address text box. Chrome will now open the webpage of your choice when you click the Home button.

Saving occurs automatically, but in order to evaluate the result of the changes made, the browser must be restarted.
